This is a Trek 5200 carbon fiber road bike. It is in good condition and all of the components work well. The real strength of the Trek 5200 is that it is not only super fast and agile but very comfortable for long rides. The carbon frame really does eat up a lot of the road vibration, but it never compromises performance. When you stretch out and apply that little something extra on the pedals, the bike responds by going fast. It is not skittish in turns. It corners like it’s on rails. It is hard to find a bike in comparison where as you feel in total control like on this one. The Trek 5200 is a great climbing bike as well. This bike maximizes performance, whether it’s a short group ride or a century. The Shimano Ultegra components work well.

There is a tear on the saddle but is is useable.
The bike has some scratches/marks and decal peel but looks good overall. View the pictures and enlarge them by double clicking on them, they are part of the description as well. You will get a real good idea of the general cosmetic condition.

I have photographed the components so that you can see any wear (if applicable). We do not give refunds for parts/upgrades/updates. The parts function (unless otherwise noted) and wear is shown in the pictures. The bike is perfectly useable as it is.
This is a size 58cm. The top tube measures 56cm center to center and the standover height is 32″.
As a general sizing rule, when you compare your inseam to the standover height there should be at least 1″ of clearance and no more than 3″ for a road bike, and 2-4 inches for a mountain bike although some individuals do prefer to have 3-5 inches of clearance for off road mountain bikes for more control. We suggest no less than 1″ of clearance between the top bar and your inseam. The saddle is adjustable.
