This is a Specialized Allez Pro 18 E5 Road Bike. The Colombus E5 SLX tubing is very light and responsive. Specialized says “our proprietary E5 alloy contains silicon, copper, manganese, magnesium and zinc (the five alloying elements in E5), which give it exactly the characteristics needed for making ultralight and exceptionally strong bicycle frames. Drawn and manipulated into custom-spec SLX tubesets, mechanical properties of E5 include exceptional formability, high tensile strength, and the ability to retain substantially more of that strength after welding, k particularly close to the welds (recovery).”
The tubing is made by Columbus and pobably the top aluminum out there. The bike features Shimano Dura-Ace components and Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels. This is a machine folks. The bike is a 56cm but is closer to a 54cm. You can see what I mean in the geometry chart below. There is a small ding in the downtube near the bottle cage bosses which I have photographed. Definitely no effect on the bike.
The decals aren’t perfect. The bike is missing some paint near the seat tube. The Dura-Ace lettering is rubbed off the crank arms. The bike has some marks/scratches that you can see in the pictures but it looks good overall. View the pictures and enlarge them by double clicking, they are part of the description as well. You will get a real good idea of the general cosmetic condition.
I have photographed the components so that you can see any wear (if applicable). We do not give refunds for parts/upgrades/updates. The parts function (unless otherwise noted) and wear is shown in the pictures. The bike is perfectly useable unless it is indicated otherwise.
This is a size 56cm. It measures 52cm from the center of the BB to the top of the seat collar. The standover height is 30.3 inches. The top-tube is 56.3cm center to center.

As a general sizing rule, when you compare your inseam to the standover height there should be at least 1″ of clearance and no more than 3″ for a road bike, and 2-4 inches for a mountain bike although some individuals do prefer to have 3-5 inches of clearance for off road mountain bikes for more control. The saddle is adjustable.
