This is a super-smooth steel framed bike. I changed the bars out to make it more commuter-friendly. I also added fenders for the rain, and wider tires. The bike includes a Specialized computer (simple functions), pannier, and a light mount. This frame is lighter (and faster) than most commuters. Derailleurs, brakes, cranks are 105. I have put thumb shifters on it, and new brake levers as well.

Up for bid is a totally reconditioned vintage Bianchi single speed frame with extras.

It measured 58cm for BB to top of seat tube.

You will get everything but the wheels and pedals.

This was a Bianchi Edoardo from 1978. I restored it by giving it a professional powder coat in the traditional Bianchi color, Celeste.

I added a new threadless fork with head set and stem.

This bike can be made into a road bike by adding braze on shifters.

The vintage Balleri handle bars are made in France and the cranks are the original Sakae SX.

The saddle is a Selle Italia with gel and titanium rails.

This is a very nice piece, only ridden a few times.

I am selling my cherished one of a kind Bianchi Dolomiti. This is the 59cm 2009 model that came stock with full Campagnolo Veloce 10 speed. I striped the bike of all Veloce and replaced it with Campagnolo Athena 11 speed. The bike also has a Campagnolo Record headset instead of the supplied FSA Orbit. And Campagnolo Khasmin Wheels as opposed to the Ambrosio stock wheels. Included with the sale are extras. A spare new Chorus chain, 120mm Deda Stem, Elite Bianchi water bottle, Celeste touch-up paint, 11 speed master links, to name a few.
I am selling it because since I’ve owned it I’ve only ridden it a few times. It has less than 300 miles on it total. This bike has been babied since day one. I visited the Bianchi factory in Treviglio, Italy in early 2005 and watched expert craftsmen build this model. When I returned home, I special ordered this 60 cm showpiece bicycle for myself. It is equipped with Dura Ace 7803 equipment except the 7700 brakes which are a bit lighter. The wheels are Bontrager Race Xtralight. The carbon fiber seatpost with titanium hardware was special ordered from PMP, a small high-end component manufacturer just up the road from the Bianchi factory. The full carbon Bontrager Race XXX lite stem is mounted with a carbon Race X Light 44cm handlebar. Selle Italia Flite Ti saddle, Conti GP3000 tires, Bianchi bar tape, and Hudz lever covers…all in celeste of course. Everything is in excellent condition. Tires are starting to show wear, but still have probably half their life. Price of this bike new was just under $8000.

The Italian made frame has small details like the sculpted headtube, Bianchi pantograph at bottom bracket, and flawless welds. The seat stays are carbon fiber to dampen even the harshest roads. The tubes in the bottom bracket area are injected with Bianchi’s patented structural foam to increase stiffness.

We don’t know if it’s inherent in the culture or something intrinsic to the language, but Italian speech is rife with hyperbole and colorful idioms and we love it. The effortless invocation of the Madonna for every possible instance of superlatives is just one of many examples of exaggerated Italian flourishes; the boundless possibilities of using “cazzo” as an insult, as praise, or as an ordinary turn of phrase is unmatched even by the rich vulgar creativity of English Hooligans and American gangstas. So it should come as no surprise that from this great tradition of linguistic free license we get the Bianchi Infinito, a more forgiving breed of race bike that required two years of research and development and a year’s worth of race testing before being unveiled to the public.

We’ll admit that getting our meager minds around the concept of infinity has mystified us since we learned about Zeno in Philosophy 101, but in that hyperbolic Italian way Bianchi feels no compunctions about summoning eternity to make a point about this frame: as the top model in Bianchi’s C2C (Coast 2 Coast) line-up, the Infinito was designed to cover endless very long distances with maximum performance and minimum fatigue. The entire C2C range represents Bianchi’s foray into a category of recent frame design which arguably started with the Cervelo RS and includes the likes of Scott’s latest CR1 and Cannondale’s Synapse. These pro-quality framesets rethink traditional assumptions about what it means to be a quote-unquote racing bike by focusing on a less stressed rider position and a more relaxed geometry. This is done by extending the frame’s head-tube height (just more than 1.5cm on the Infinito) and lengthening the wheelbase but maintaining traditional head tube angles and fork rake. Bianchi’s goal of creating a comfort-oriented, pro-quality race machine was clearly achieved as evidenced by the Infinito’s use throughout the 2009 Giro d’Italia by Robbie Hunter (one of the hardmen of the pro peloton and a sprinter extraordinaire), who spent the month testing and proving its race-worthiness in every road stage and every conceivable condition.

The comfort factor of the Infinito is astonishing when one realizes that it still fits squarely within Bianchi’s competition range of framesets. Certainly, its ride properties benefit from the strategic use of vibration damping Kevlar and an extended wheelbase which smooths out rough road surfaces. But Bianchi’s Nano Power Technology — identical to that used in the mother of all Bianchi race bikes, the 928 SL–allows them to tune the frame’s ride and vibration absorption properties through unique tube shapes and the orientation of carbon fibers. In whole, Bianchi refers to this process as BAT (Bianchi Active Technology) which means the combination of materials and shapes maintain the frame’s phenomenal torsional stiffness for full-blown power transfer and Grand Tour style handling characteristics, but at the same time allows for enough vertical compliance to fully enjoy this bike on a century, gran fondo, or your winter training rides. An added plus of Nano Power Technology is a reduction in so-called micro-cracking that can occur in the cohesion of resin and carbon fibers in the carbon matrix. This translates to greater reliability and durability for such a lightweight, high performance frameset.

If you’re wondering why you should consider the Infinito over the 928 SL or Mono-Q, keep in mind that the Infinito is designed to satisfy three key objectives: to reduce rider fatigue, provide greater comfort, and accommodate long distance riding. If you have only one high-performance bike in your quiver and your idea of riding is oriented more towards spirited group or individual rides rather than repeats of scenes like these, the Infinito may well be your bike. Moreover, if your core lacks the strength of Fabian Cancellara or your flexibility requires that you add an aesthetically displeasing number of spacers below your stem, the additional head tube height will better accommodate your physiological needs. Here is a Beautiful Blue Bianchi Eros. I have loved this
frame and fork for the last few years, though I’ve been limited in how much
riding I could do due to injury. It is a
smooth and balanced ride and can really pump up your speed. The bike and fork are Chromo Lite double
butted and heat treated. I think the frame is 52, but that depends on how you
measure it. Basically it’s medium
sized. I’m 5′ 6″ and it’s slightly
big for me. There are a few nicks and
scratches caused by being stored in a crowded garage, but they in no way affect
the performance.

The distance from the center of the crankset to the top
point where the seat post attaches is 21″. The measurement from the middle
of the opening which accepts the handlebar stem (the “front”) to the middle of
the seat post opening is 21”. The
measurement from the middle of the crankset to the top of the frame opening
which accepts the handlebar stem is 27”.
This bike has never been stored outside and has no rust of any
kind. This sale is for the frame and the
fork. The crankset is being sold separately but we could work out a deal if you
would like both.

I really don’t want to ship this and would like only buyers
who can travel to Washington DC’s Capital Hill by Union Station. If you insist on shipping there will be an
extra charge equal to the exact price determined by the EBay postal calculator,

I am selling my yellow Bianchi road bike which I am guessing is circa 1989-1990. It is a 12 speed with clipless pedals ( new in 1998 ) and a Sela Italian seat. The rear ( racing ) cassette was also new around 1998 and the bike has been sitting ( covered ) since then.

The last ride I did with this bike was Bike Across Bama in the summer of 1998. This was around a 400 mile ride over various terrains. With a gel seat cover on there this was a very comfortable riding bike for tours even though I had to work a little harder on the big hills.

Once I get it cleaned up, I’ll put some pictures on and I can give you some specifics about the bike. Shipping charges will be actual UPS shipping to your location ( lower 48 states please ). I will also offer free local local pickup.

I’ve just spent a couple hours cleaning her up and here’s what I see:

It is a Premio model. It has a sticker that says 1986-1987. I probably bought some time later than that. The pedals were from Bike Nashbar.

Ok, the tires are dry rotted, The cable jacket on the short run to the rear derailer is deteriorating. The bike has some very minor rust which I will try to hit with some naval jelly to see what I can reverse. All in all, the bike cleaned up great. I’d give it about a 9.2 rating.

The stand over measurement is 32.5″. I am about 5′ – 10 1/2″ tall and believe you could do a plus or minus an inch and half in stature and do well on this frame.

Rust problem areas: Hex key screws for water bottle cages (4). Looks like 5-6 spokes on the front wheel could use some attention although they are structurally ok. The levers on the quick release hubs (2).

I am letting this bike go after having used it as my commuter for the last few years. It has never been raced. For me it has been a bit on the large size so I needed a bike the next size down. The wheels have been upgraded to Mavic Aksiums, the Tektros have been replaced with Cane Creek brakes, & I replaced the bars with FSA’s with a shorter drop.

There are some scratches on the shifters and a chip on 2 but nothing that would not be expected from a few years of road use.
