The pedals and gears are attached but they are rusted pretty well. However the pedals will turn, it’s not seized up. Everything in the pictures comes with it. It is in near mint condition and is a great find for you Paramount collectors. Just look at the bottom bracket shell and the dropout faces. I rode this frame for four years and
has been hanging in my shop as a spare for the last three years. It’s time
to pass it along to someone who can use it. Don’t know how many miles are
on it but quite a lot. It has some dings in the paint as you will see in
the photos below but it is structurally fine.

I’m selling my Colnago C40 racing bike due to a relocation to Europe and can’t take it.This is a top of the line Italian dream bike that gets every head turning.It is highly responsive and has a complete bike weight of around 16lb.
Frame new cost $4,000. Complete bike cost $7,000!!
I have loved owning this and it is absolutely the Ferrari of the bike world.
It is the classic black and blue frame color which is by far the best looking Colnago design ever done.The frame has the HP split chain stays and the Classic B Stay rear triangle along with Star forks for the strongest and stiffest design, as well as looking significantly better than any other C40 out there.
Obviously top of the line components – Shimano Dura Ace group set – 9 speed.Carbon Colnago seat pin. Deda stem (approx 10cm) and 3T bars (42cm width).Wheels are the Mavic Ksyrium SL with Michelin Pro front and rear tires.Saddle – San Marco Colnago.
The measurements of the frame are 54cm seat tube (center to center). Top tube is 53cm.
Some marks:The saddle has a small scuff on the right hand edge.The frame has a very small white dot under the paint work on the top tube – if you look at the picture of the full bike from the chain set side, then to the top right of the C40 wording you will see the white dot. This is not a damage to the frame and can’t be felt with your finger.No other marks or damage I am aware of.
I live south of Bellingham in Washington State – about an hour North of Seattle or an hour South of Vancouver Canada.Shipping can be made WW based on buyer paying for packaging and shipping costs – therefore depending on location of buyer and I will calculate shipping costs.

SCHWINN PARAMOUNT ROAD BIKE – VINTAGE ROAD BIKE – EXCELLENT – 3 DAY AUCTION

THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION!!

Here for your consideration is an outstanding SCHWINN road/racing or triathlon bike in excellent condition. SCHWINN, of course, is one of the top American bike builders, and this PARAMOUNT model is one of their top of the line racing bikes. The paint is very nice, kind of a pearly white with contrasting decals, which looks very nice in the sun. The steel frame is made out of top quality TANGE STEEL, a sign of a top quality bike. Has a nice feature of through the frame cable routing too!

The bike appears to be made by Schwinn’s Paramount Design Group (PDG) in Waterford Wisconsin, and utilizes the breakthrough Schwinn OS (Oversized) tubing in the frame. Here is a quote from the Waterford website:

"Marc’s (Marc Muller) first bikes were built for Eric Heiden and the 7/11 team in 1980.

That year, Schwinn brought back the Paramount as a super-custom bike – "anything you want" for the then outrageous sum of $3,000. These became known as the "Elite" Paramounts. By 1981, enough demand had built up to justify bigger plans. Marc got the go-ahead to build a factory which, after a considerable search, landed in Waterford, Wisconsin. The new factory housed what became Paramount Design Group, or PDG. Not simply a framebuilder, PDG was to become a design laboratory for both the re-born Paramount as well as the rest of Schwinn’s product lines. Frame production grew dramatically, matching all but the boom years of the early 70′s. In addition, PDG built the Sting, Schwinn’s high-end BMX race bike."

"OS Tubing

The development of the OS tube design began in 1987 with Marc Muller and then with the collaboration of Frank Brilando. It represented one of the most important innovations in bicycle tubing since the 1930′s. One aspect of the OS tubeset is now found on many bicycles – the 1 1/4" downtube. 1 1/4" in steel represents the best combination of overal strength to weight. Anything larger and there’s no way to make the wall thin enough to reduce weight without compromising the column strength of the tubing. Without adequate column strength the rider risks suffering a particular type of structural failure known as the "beer can effect".

The OS tubeset included (and includes) much more:

The downtube enters the bottom bracket offset downward from the BB spindle by 5mm. This allows several important improvements to take place. First, it leaves more brazing surface area for both the downtube and the seattube.
The seatmast is flared at the bottom bracket. At first, Paramount flared it to 1 1/4" at the bottom bracket. Waterford seattubes only flare to 30mm. This stiffens the area around the BB shell.
The chainstay tops out at 24mm at the bottom bracket instead of the traditional 22.2mm.

These changes strengthen the bottom bracket area – where it has the most impact on pedaling. The rest of the bike can be lightened up without compromising either stiffness or durability. These other changes involved creating a special lugset as well as a special tubeset. Waterford worked with True Temper to create its special tubeset.

The addition of the OS Paramount kept up demand for Paramounts even as the overall road racing market was collapsing. Paramount continued making the "Standard" (Columbus tubing) frames through late 1990, though the OS really took over. In 1992, PDG introduced the heat treated version of the OS tubeset. Heat treating allowed PDG to lighten up the tubeset still further."

The bike is equipped with top quality SHIMANO 105 components throughout. These are all in nice condition. Has really nice MAVIC CXP14 DEEP V wheels! Wheels and tires, like the rest of the bike, are in nice condition. Also comes with clipless pedals and water bottle cages. Even has a pump mounted!

The frame size seems to be around 61 cm, if you use the seat tube as a sizing guide. This is a popular size for a lot of riders.

1993 Ritchey Road Logic Bicycle 58cm W/ Campagnolo 8-speed Athena Regal Steel

Steel frame and fork, Campy Athena 8-speed, tubular Campagnolo wheelset, Regal saddle, Ritchey pedals.
The condition is very good, there are two very small chips in the paint that I can find, one at a rear dropout, the other at the bottom of the bottom bracket. There are some minor clear coat scuffs here and there but overall this is a cherry. However, you are buying a used bicycle, not a new one, so it will not be perfect.
The seat tube measures just about 58.5 c-c, I’m guessing this was sold as a 60cm to the top of the st, which extends ever so slightly past the top tube.

All in good working order, though the brake pads and cables should be replaced for optimum performance. Also, the brake hoods are deteriorated, but I’m including a brand-new pair in this auction. The saddle has a couple of small tears at the edges.

THIS BIKE IS A YELLOW SCHWINN CHICAGO, SERIAL NO. LN581104. I MEASURED 37 INCHES FROM THE TOP FRAME TO THE GROUND. THERE ARE SOME RUST ON SOME OF THE STEEL, AND HOPEFULLY YOU CAN SEE WHERE IT IS IN THE PICTURES. THE RUBBER TIRES MAY NEEDS REPLACING. I DON’T KNOW WHAT YEAR IT WAS PRODUCED BECAUSE IT DID NOT SEE A DATE OR SERIAL NUMBER.

This is an almost brand new 2010 Specialized Roubaix Comp bike. Due to some schedule changes right after I bought it, I’ve been unable to find the time to ride. So it’s time to sell it.

If you want to pick this up you can do that to save shipping. I am in the Dallas Ft. Worth area of Texas.

This includes Mavic Ksyrium Elite Wheels, Thompson Elite Seat Post, Hollow CR-MO saddle rails, cateye double wireless computer, totally adjustable aerobars, 2 armadillo tires (virtually brand new) SRAM Force components, 1 tap gear change, Compact front 2 ring, 2 brand new “MudSaks” to protect your car from a dirty bike, Body Geometry Avatar 155 white saddle, 2 bottle cages, handlebar wrap, SRAM X-9 Rear Deraullier, Dimension handlebar extender.

I had the rear cassette changed to give me a few lower gears. You don’t lose but one gear on the very top end and for “normal” riders that is a great trade off. RBM will exchange the rear cassette that it on it for the one that normally would be on it if you would like. However, unless you are an iron leg speed demon, you should leave it the way it is. Those extra low gears are very handy on hills!

You CAN use credit cards through paypal. Obviously, the bike will not ship until the funds are verfied as good funds and have cleared the bank.

The bike has less than 200 miles on it. Richardson Bike Mart can confirm it was purchased from them, that all of the gear was installed by them, and that it is in near perfect condition. This bike has never been wrecked or stored outside or transported on the outside of a vehicle. I take VERY good care of my equipment so that it will take good care of me 50+ miles from my car.

I have put thumb shifters on it, and new brake levers as well.
